About Us
We are an interprofessional team who is looking forward to making your pregnancy experience special for you and your family.
The Maternal and Newborn Team at Groves consist of family doctors, two Obstetrician-Gynecologists, three groups of midwives, registered nurses, dietitians, social workers, respiratory therapists, pharmacists and medical/nursing trainees. We work together with you to identify your needs and create a plan specific to you.
Our goal for the Groves Hospital Maternal Child Program is to provide each patient with the safest, most evidence-based patient and family centered care possible.
We have put together this website to provide you some information on Maternal and Newborn Care at Groves and to answer some common questions.
Pregnancy can be a time where lots of advice is given – family, friends, co-workers may all want to share their stories and advice. There is also a lot of information on the internet. When it comes to the health of you and your baby, it is important to get information from trustworthy sources.
